Eric's Famous Turkey Burgers

Updated: Jun 14, 2021

These turkey burgers have a Mediterranean twist and are wholesome and healthy! They don't have eggs or breadcrumbs but they stick together beautifully and will leave you wanting seconds.

Yield: 4 burgers

Ingredients:

  • 4 buns - your choice of style here, from classic to something fancy like brioche or pretzel

  • 1 lb of ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup of Trader Joe's Soyaki sauce

  • 1/2 cup of baby spinach

  • 1/4 cup (maybe a pinch more) of feta, crumbled

  • Toppings can include any of your burger favorites

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees OR turn the grill up to medium heat.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the turkey, Soyaki, baby spinach, and feta, then season with pepper (not salt as the Soyaki has a lot of salt). Form the mixture into 4 flat patties.

  3. If you're using the oven Place the patties on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Cook in the oven for about 20 minutes, until cooked through.

  4. OR - If you're grilling, generously oil your grill grates and make sure you're at medium heat. Once hot, place the patties on the grill and allow to sear on both sides, then close the lid and allow them to cook for 2 more minutes until cooked through.

  5. Serve up your patties on a bun with your toppings and any sides you'd like - these burgers go great with anything!
